Ok, so we went to get our passports today. We even had a sleepover so that we could get up uber early and get to the designated passport place so we could be first in line. We were the first ones there, however, decided to hang out in the jeep and smoke and stuff. So we were actually about 7th in line. Which isn't bad seeing as there's about 9 booths set up so we were in and out right away.
They don't accept cash or debit. Makes sense to me. Debit would be ridiculous considering this is a traveling thing and they're only here for a couple days. And since the ladies working it aren't actually responsible for anything other than making sure you're very important papers are in order. They take credit card or money order. Now these instructions were pretty much plastered all over the place in the weeks coming up to the passport soiree. The reason i laugh is because there were so hundreds of people there (remember we were 7th) and when the passport lady announced that no debit or cash was accepted people lost their minds. Now tell me...when you are going somewhere and are guaranteed to be waiting for hours would you not make sure that you had read information, prepared ahead and planned for the unforeseen...like maybe they don't take debit? People were groaning and getting upset, yelling and all the while Z and I giggled and played snaps. Silly rabbits. Read instructions.
